We have released a video, Part 1 of Judo from “When you watch something, visit us first!” with the English subtitles version.
We interviewed Mr.Toshihiko_YAMADA, Director and General Manager of the Ryotokuji University Staff Judo Team about the intention behind the flapping of the hands that Judo-ka often show in Judo matches. I hope this video would help you to enjoy watching Judo matches.

東京2020大会当時に全日本柔道連盟の強化副委員長で、了徳寺大学 職員柔道部 総監督兼部長である山田利彦さんに、柔道選手が試合の時に見せる”あの”動きの理由を伺いました。山田さんはあのウルフ・アロン選手を東京2020大会の金メダリストに育てられた方でもあります。
